THIS COMMITTEE IS SUSPENDED.
Dedicated to educating and expanding compassionate end of life choices for all Minnesotans. Our goal is to inform the general public regarding the choices available as one approaches the end of life.
Those efforts include how to foster discussion in families about your end of life wishes and how to protect your rights in hospitals, nursing homes and elsewhere. We offer information on how to express your wishes through advance directives such as a Living Will and Health Care Powers of Attorney.
We employ educational programs, media outreach, and print publications to change health care practice, inform policy makers, influence public opinion and empower individuals.
We are an independent volunteer-run group that supports the rights of terminally ill adults to physician aid in dying as a fundamental civil right and the work of organizations such as Compassion and Choices.
